There is some nostalgia, and of course the ever-present theme of the movement of water in most of my work...diamonds sprinkled on the ocean, morning sun, big waves, small waves, feeling the bottom with hands, knees, faces, handstands, somersaults, sit on the bottom, underwater quiet... we are fish. The use of tone on tone colors simplify and help me find my way.
